Presentation to Sharon Ferguson
BFVH Treasurer, Graham Dolan (Ayton Community Hall), deputising for Chair Jackie Watson, recently made a presentation to Sharon Ferguson of Bavs in the the Bavs shop in Duns.
Bavs is no longer involved with the village halls at all. Due to reorganisation, support for halls now comes from Borders Community Action (BCA). For many years, as part of her Bavs remit, Sharon was Secretary and Treasurer of the halls' federation and provided great support for us all. Than you Sharon!
2024 AGM
The 2024 AGM is planned for a Saturday in Noveber - date still to be decided.
The Federation held the delayed 2023 AGM at Hutton Village Hall on 15th January 2024. The AGM was fairly well attended and various areas for further discussion were
raised. In the not too distant future it is hoped to hold session about heating and insulation and becoming an SCIO.
